Weekend Shop & Café Assistants - September start
We are looking for some new team member(s) to join our team on Saturdays and Sundays from September.
We are a small and friendly team, who take pride in our work, creating an approachable and friendly atmosphere for customers and team members alike.
We are looking to cover various hours across the weekend, so please let us know your availability when applying.
Suitable for ages 16+. These jobs would be perfect for young workers whilst still in education, or somebody looking for weekend hours.
Starting wage dependent on experience and age.
Saturday Hours available:
10 - 5pm (30 min unpaid lunchbreak)
Seasonal Sat hours:
12.30 – 4.30pm (4 hours, no break)
*Please note that this shift is for a seasonal Winter shift, and hours will not be available from April 2027*
Sunday Hours available:
11 – 4.30pm (30 min unpaid lunchbreak)
What the role entails:
- Helping with customer enquiries and shop service throughout the day.
- Taking café orders and putting payments through the till.
- Drinks service – making hot chocolates, coffees etc. Training will be provided.
- Clearing tables in the cafe, and helping wash up crockery.
- Helping to maintain a clean & tidy shop front.
- Restocking the shelves, and keeping the shop front looking tidy.
- Helping with chocolate packaging tasks when required.
- Other reasonable duties involved in the running of the shop/café.
What we're looking for/what you need:
- To be friendly and approachable to customers.
- To have a strong work ethic, and take pride in providing a great service.
- To enjoy working within a small team.
- To be a reliable team member who is happy to get stuck in with various tasks during the day, with a good 'what can I do to help the team' attitude.
- Have a passion for good chocolate!

*There may be scope for some additional hours during the week on occasion if interested, especially on the run up to Christmas. Weekday availability is not required though.*

Seasonal Kitchen & Packaging Assistant.
We are looking for an extra pair of hands to join us from the beginning of September, on the run up to Christmas.
15 hour contract, 3 days a week, 12-5pm. (no lunchbreak)
Must be available to work Fridays, plus 2 other days during the week (Tues, Wed or Thurs), which can be more flexible.
There may be scope for additional hours closer to Christmas, if interested.
What the role entails:
- Assisting in the kitchen - taking on cleaning & washing up duties to support the chocolatiers and café, and help enable the smooth running of the kitchen and café.
- Clean & safe packaging of chocolate products as we head into our busy season.
- We are a small and friendly team, so basic training on front of house shop service will also be provided, so that help can be provided when necessary for the day-to-day needs of the business.
