Coronavirus Schedule Updates
We are making a few changes to our normal making and delivery schedule during the coronavirus outbreak, in order to reduce our social contact at this time. Here are a few steps we are taking to reduce the risk of contamination when purchasing our chocolates.
Hand Deliveries are being made as distanced drops. We will drop, knock and then walk a safe distance away whilst waiting for you to collect your chocolates. We are taking actions to reduce cross contamination when delivering parcels, by carrying parcels with a designated hook.
Royal Mail parcels are being sent using their Click & Drop service, and are being posted at parcel drop boxes, rather than requiring visits to the post office. *Please note that as we approach the summer, there may be delays in sending out any Royal Mail orders if we deem the weather too hot for sending chocolate. We will make every effort to get orders sent out as soon as we can.
We are a hand-made chocolate company, so whilst we take many precautions to keep a sanitary and clean environment, we do work in close contact with the chocolate, and our products. Most products will have been made and packaged at least 2 days before delivery to you. Our chocolates will keep for a little while, so if you are worried, feel free to leave them aside for a few days to ensure even lower risks levels when opening the packages and consuming.
Opening Hours The shop is now open for shopping. Please wear a face covering when entering the store, and use our sanitiser before touching anything. We are allowing 1 person or group in at a time to browse, please respect our staff and customer safety with these measures.
Free Click & Collect Service available. Order online before 3pm for NEXT DAY collection during our opening hours. If you need sooner, or same day, please call us on - 01179636956 to check we can accomodate.
Local Cycle deliveries
We will now be offering regular cycle or walking deliveries around the vicinity of the shop.
Ideal for those purchasing gifts for delivery to this area, or for anybody who is shielding and
unable to come to the store. Cycle delivery area within the purple line on the map.

Hand Deliveries around Bristol during the coronavirus outbreak:
BS1, BS2, BS3, BS4, BS5, BS6, BS7, BS8 & BS9
We have partnered with a local driver to offer local deliveries around the Bristol area on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Order before 3pm the day before, to use this service. If you are likely to be out at work and unable to accept delivery, please let us know a safe place to leave the parcel.
£2.99 standard charge with *FREE delivery for orders over £40*
Royal Mail deliveries will be sent out regularly, unless hot weather causes us to delay our services. We understand the Royal Mail are experiencing delays with their postal services, due to high demand and reductions in staff. Please be aware that parcels may take slightly longer to arrive than normal at the moment.

Every effort is made to process and dispatch all items ordered within 1-2 days of ordering.
Should there be any reason that may cause this to change, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Your items will be dispatched according to the delivery schedule selected and paid for. We can currently only deliver to UK Mainland addresses.
Free Collection Service
Free collection is available, and can be picked up from our store at 200 North Street, Southville, BS3 1JF. This option is available to choose at the checkout. Please just let us know when you would like to collect.
Standard UK shipping rate: £4.50 via Royal Mail (1-3 days)
We now have one flat shipping rate for all of our online chocolate orders. We send out via Royal Mail first class delivery, which should reach you within 1-3 days.
Voucher postage: £0.70 via Royal Mail (1-3 days)
We offer a cheaper postage rate for voucher purchases, which will be sent as a small letter via Royal Mail. These are sent out by first class delivery, so should reach you within 1-3 days.
Zara's Chocolates cannot accept resonsibility for a delay in the delivery of the items caused by the delivery service. Please be aware that at peak times e.g. Christmas, and during certain events, or adverse weather conditions, delays may occur.
A delivery is not classed as missing until 14 days have passed since the order. If you still have not received your order at the end of this period, please get in touch and we will endeavour to arrange a replacement.
